Travel back in time to the Jurassic era after the last massive scale volcanic eruption took place in Hong Kong. Through a boat excursion, we shall tour around the inner sea of Sai Kung to experience the volcanic rock formation from about 140 million years ago. Visitors will have a chance to go onshore at Sharp Island, where one will find the “Pineapple Bun Rock”, a tombolo which is only visible at low tide and other unique geological features. After the boat excursion, we shall visit the UNESCO Geopark Volcano Discovery Centre, followed by a not-to-miss seafood lunch. The tour ends after lunch and you may roam around the promenade in Sai Kung.
