Australia’s first amphibious Aquaduck tour commenced operations in 1996 and is now a popular Gold Coast icon.

Departing from the heart of Surfers Paradise, rides aboard the amphibious ‘Duck’ combine informative city-tours with unique and exciting river-cruising.

Travel past the glitzy waterfront mansions of the rich and famous and take in the spectacular views of the Gold Coast waterways and its well-known landmarks. A tour aboard these unique vessels is a safe and enjoyable activity suitable for the whole family.

Activity Arrangement

1 hour tour begins in the heart of Surfers Paradise on Cavill Avenue.

Tour Guide with live commentary on board.

Safari tour includes a 20-minute city tour then a splash into the water for a 40-minute river cruise.

Look out for Dolphins and other wildlife on your waterways cruise.

See the super yachts as you pass the Palazzo Versace hotel and. watch the roller coaster at Sea World.

Cruise past the mansions of the rich and famous.

Look back at the Surfers Paradise skyline from the river cruise.

Celebrity spotting through Tedder Avenue at Main Beach.

Children can steer the Aquaduck and receive a personalised license certificate included in the ticket price.

Suitable for everyone from babies to seniors, this is a ‘must-do’ activity for the whole family.

Booking is essential.
Free drop-off to SeaWorld or Paradise Jet Boating during return leg of the tour is available on request.
Each Aquaduck holds max 30 pax each. A total of 90pax in 3 Aquaducks can take the tour at any one time.
Safe and fun for babies to seniors and everyone in between.
Lifejackets onboard for all guests.
Multilingual safety cards on board.
Strollers, luggage and wheelchairs can be stored at Aquaudck HQ for the duration of your tour.
Baby 0-1 year can ride for free on adult's lap but reservation still require.
Children 2-16 years may purchase child rate ticket.
Chinese speaking staff available for group bookings on request.
The Aquaduck vehicles are not wheelchair accessible, but assistance may be provided for those who can do stairs before boarding the vehicles.
No foods or drinks are accepted onboard except bottle of water.

Change and Cancellation

Cancellation and amendment policies vary by suppliers. Please send request to booking@starhoptour.com for any cancellation or amendment as early as possible. We will process on a best effort basis according to the terms & conditions set by the supplier.
Once booking is confirmed, any cancellation request received before 48 hours of activity/check-in start date plus 3 working days, only administration charges will apply;
Once booking is confirmed, any cancellation or amendment request received within 48 hours of activity/check-in start date plus 3 working days or ‘No Shows’, no refund will be issued.
Once booking is confirmed, minimum of 24 hours of activity/check-in start date plus 3 working day is required for rescheduling.
A working day means it is not a weekend or a public holiday in China or Hong Kong SAR.
