3. Input your TRIP CODE into the FLIGHTS tab (this will be unique to every flight & shows up on your flight confirmation). If you don’t enter a trip code, you WILL NOT receive an update about your flight. Example of how to enter the unique trip code for Melbourne flights: MELDDMMYY e.g. MEL150219 (this is the flight for 15th February 2019).

Make sure your notifications are switched ON in your phone settings, so you can receive updates.

You’ll receive a notification the night before your flight with the updated weather details and also the exact meeting time.

If you have changed your flight date, please remember to input your new trip code into the app as above.

Launch : Passengers assist with the set up/ inflation of the balloon

Sunrise : Flight for approximately 1 hour

Land : The pilot will land the balloon; passengers can assist to pack up the balloon

About 9-10am completed the entire experience

• Discounted undercover parking at the Pullman on the Park for a flat fee of AUD10.
• Complete flight and ground insurance.

If passenger do not contact the duty pilot as required between 6.30 and 7.00 p.m., Global Ballooning Australia cannot be held liable for the consequences of not checking in with your pilot and receiving the latest instructions.
• Passenger must fill in the form providing the information of: Name, age, weight (in kg), flight date, flight location, with or without breakfast, hotel name & location for pick up, mobile no in Australia, passenger's email address and wechat ID, booking no.
• Individual Passenger Booking - refers to a booking of 19 people or less booked at the same time, in the one scheduled flight date.
• Group Passenger Booking - refers to a booking of 20 or more people booked at the same time, in the one scheduled flight date.
• Travelers may wish to purchase their own insurance.
• Passenger safety is our first concern & priority. We reserve the right to cancel a flight, if weather conditions are unsuitable to fly on the day. You may choose to reschedule for another day.
• Age requirements: Minimum age of this activity is 6 years old. Children are welcome and must be accompanied by a paying adult.
• Due to safety reasons we do not fly pregnant women and children under 6 years old.
• Please wear comfortable layers of outdoor clothing to match the season, a hat and sturdy shoes for the morning dew. No open footwear or high heels are allowed.
• Bring your camera to capture the wonderful experience. Remember to charge your batteries.
• Bring cash for purchasing your in flight balloon photos.
• Under no circumstances will Global Ballooning Australia be liable for direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damages including but not limited to lost or damaged property, lost profits or savings or damages for disappointment.
• Global Ballooning Australia may arrange for the hot air ballooning to be performed under a ‘code-sharing’ arrangement, i.e. it may subcontract another ballooning company to provide you with your flight. In such instances, Global Ballooning Australia accepts no liability in connection with such services or for any loss, injury, or damage to or in respect of any person or property. Global Ballooning Australia reserves the right to alter contents of products and location when deemed necessary. Global Ballooning Australia does however warrant providing services of equal nature and value.

• Cancellation and amendment policies vary by suppliers. Please send request to booking@starhoptour.com for any cancellation or amendment as early as possible. We will process on a best effort basis according to the terms & conditions set by the supplier.
• i) Individual Passenger/ FIT Booking (1-19 passengers)
• Once booking is confirmed, any cancellation or amendment request received before 7 days of activity/check-in start date plus 3 working days, only administration charges will apply;
• Once booking is confirmed, any cancellation or amendment request received within 7 days of activity/check-in start date plus 3 working days or ‘No Shows’, no refund will be issued.
• ii) Group Passenger Booking (20 or above passengers)
• Bookings of 20 or more passengers are considered ‘Group’ bookings. ‘Group’ Bookings and Exclusive flight bookings have slightly different terms and conditions to our standard FIT bookings. Depending on the season and time of week the group booking request to fly, additional administration and cancellation charges may apply. These conditions are centered around ‘Group’ bookings being cancelled due to inclement weather.
• A working day means it is not a weekend or a public holiday in China or Hong Kong SAR.
• If the flight is cancelled due to bad weather, contact Starhoptour office within 12 months of your first cancelled balloon flight to rebook for another day. Alternatively, you may be able to receive a refund depending on the above change & cancellation terms & policy on your booking.
