Sirromet is a family owned and run winery situated at picturesque Mount Cotton, just 30 minutes from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Founder-Terry Morris, a Queensland entrepreneur and businessman who chose land in the Granite Belt Region renowned for its unique combination of rich soil, high altitude and cool climate, providing the perfect location for growing grapes. In 2000 Sirromet opened doors to the public. Utilising traditional methods and new technology, Sirromet produce exquisite quality wines recognised on the world stage. Sirromet is proud to have collected over 800 prestigious national and international wine awards to date.
The tour takes the guests behind the scenes of the state-of-the-art winery facility and picturesque Mount Cotton vineyards to gain an insight into the winemaking process. Hear the tale of an Australian family who created one of the most famous wine brands in Queensland and conclude with a private wine tasting of 6-8 Sirromet wines.
Following your "behind the scenes tour" experience, you will be treated to a relaxing lunch from the Tuscan Terrace whilst enjoying the beautiful views to Moreton Bay. The Tuscan Terrace delivers wonderful seasonal flavours of traditional Tuscan home-style cuisine. Reminiscent of Tuscany, relax on the 75 metre timber deck or under the shade of the fig trees in the Amoroso area. The Tuscan Terrace is home to a state-of-the-art kitchen delivering wonderful seasonal flavours of the freshest local produce and ingredients prepared in traditional home cooked Tuscan style.
