The Jacob’s Creek History spans three centuries with original vine plantings in 1847. Today the Jacob’s Creek Brand Home is a leading wine tourism site located in the heart of the Barossa Valley. The award winning restaurant features local produce to enjoy with wonderful wine choices and panoramic views.
Barossa Wine School
Jacob’s Creek is now offering Barossa Wine School level one certification. The program has been developed in conjunction with the Barossa Grape and Wine Association to enhance participant’s understanding of wine styles, history, viticulture and winemaking in Australia’s most famous wine region, the Barossa Valley. Spend the day at Jacob’s Creek, where we have carefully created a half day educational wine itinerary including:
• Jacob’s Creek Master Class
• 4-course shared style lunch, paired with wines
• Short examination, 25 multiple choice questions
Guests learn about six Barossa wines and if they achieve 70% or over pass mark, qualify as a certified Level 1 : Barossa Enthusiast.
