Enjoy delicious home-cooked meals, in the warm and friendly family atmosphere, typical of Aussie hospitality. Often you can collect the eggs to have them cooked for your breakfast, or vegetables to eat them fresh with your meal.

There are so many experiences to enjoy on a farm, with memories of a lifetime. You will not believe how many stars you can see in the Australian countryside at night. You won’t forget seeing ‘The Southern Cross’ and ‘The Milky Way’. At sunrise and sunset you can often see the wild kangaroos on farm properties feeding. Some farms even have tennis courts, swimming pools, table tennis tables, billiard tables and dams for yabbying or fishing.

The farm hosts are experienced hosts and enjoy sharing and educating their visitors, adults and children, about farming life. One night will give you a taste of Australia, but two or three nights is the ideal farmstay package to allow time to experience the various activities and the culture of the Australian countryside while forging a lifelong friendship with your farm family.

Just 1 hour and 15 minutes drive to Beaudesert from both Gold Coast and Brisbane we have many farms available to show you the best of their country lifestyle. This area has many horse and mixed farms available with a variety of activities and local sights for you to enjoy.

Typical properties for the Scenic Rim area are cattle, nut, sheep, horse, vineyard, vegetable and hobby farms.

Activity Arrangement

For 2 Nights 6 Meals Gold Coast Farmstays, the farms are just 1 hour 15 mins to Beaudesesrt from Gold Coast and Brisbane. Guests can stay up to 48 hours from the time they arrive. (e.g. if you check in at 11am, you will check out at 11am or earlier on the third day.)

Basic farm activities include:

A tour of the farm

Hand feed all animals on the farm

Collect fresh chicken eggs to cook/eat for breakfast

Pick some fresh fruits or vegetables.

Plant some seedlings (seasonal)

Kangaroo spotting

Star gazing

Other activities (seasonal and only suitable on some farms) may include:

For 1 Night 2 Meals Gold Coast Farmstays, the farms are just 1 hour 15 mins to Beaudesesrt from Gold Coast and Brisbane. Guests will check in at 3pm and check out at 10am the next morning.
