Embark on a journey through time and space with this ticket to the Dark Sky Experience at Lake Tekapo. No need to wait until after dark to admire the night sky at this indoor exhibition which draws on Māori astronomy and recent discoveries to tell the story of our skies.

This kid-friendly attraction is ideal for families, with multimedia exhibits and hands-on activities offering something to do for everyone.

• Tour departure times will be issued a week prior to the tours.
• Clients/Tour Leaders are responsible for re-confirming the departure time and pick up location with our reception staff on the date of the tour.
• Arrival after the check-in deadline (10 minutes prior to tour departure) may result in you losing your tour and the entire fare paid.
• Suitable clothing for alpine environments must be worn on tours and will be monitored for customer safety.

• Tours conducted on Mt John may also make use of a multi-media presentation and/or visit the research facilities (where access is permitted).

• For non-native English speaking customers joining our English language tours, it is important to know that we have a “no translation” policy while our guides are giving a presentation. Customers cannot translate for their friends/spouse/children during the tour.
