Fraser Island
Fraser Island is the largest sand island in the world. Its World Heritage listing in 1992 ranks it with Australia's Uluru, Kakadu and the Great Barrier Reef. Its 75 Mile Beach is included into the List of Top 10 Best Beaches in Australia.
A place of exceptional beauty, it is characterised by its long uninterrupted white beaches flanked by strikingly coloured sand cliffs, its majestic tall rainforests and numerous freshwater lakes of crystal clear waters.
